Wheels:

Next to frames and group sets, wheels are the hot conversation topic on the internet and in bike shops. Which wheel is better? Which wheel will hold my weight? Which wheel is the lightest? Which wheel is the stiffest? The list goes on. I believe that no one set of wheels will suit every condition or every rider. While I believe that many factory wheels are very good, ask yourself, is that wheel the best for you? Will you or a bike shop be able to service it on the road? I use traditional, tried and true wheelbuilding methods and try to use non-proprietary  components so you can get back on the road quickly if any rare issues occur. Many factory wheels use proprietary spokes which make replacement difficult or time consuming.

With many years of wheelbuilding experience, I am able to help you decide on the best wheel for you. Hubs, rims, spokes and lacing all vary based on you, your riding style and intended use. I ride and race what I build along with my sponsored riders. With real world testing, use and abuse, I am able to find out the strenghs and weaknesses of various wheel components and able to make better recommendations.

I am able to offer a multitude of cycling solutions to you, your business, your team or event. Types of solutions offered are tune-ups and repairs, bike builds, event management, team support, neutral race support, etc. Please contact me for rates.
