KT Prototype is an exciting new venture aimed to serve the discerning bicycle enthusiast. KT Prototype is a fully equipped frame building shop that specializes in custom built steel frames, expertly built to the specific dimensions that fit each rider and their intended use. A KT Prototype is an excellent value for the entry level hand made frame customer.

KT Prototype believes that one major hurdle that many customers have in getting a custom frame is the fear that the geometry will not be perfect. KT Prototype is here to help you leap over that hurdle with affordable custom frames. Fine tune your dream geometry and once its perfect, KT Prototype can forward your measurements to another high zoot custom builder of your choice. Though I'm pretty sure that won't be necessary.

KT Prototype does not belive that your custom bike should be your weekend rider crown jewel of your bike quiver. Your custom should fear nothing and ride through everything. Why spend thousands on a frame you only take out once or twice a month and only in good weather. You should own your bike, not the other way around.

KT Prototype frames start at ~~$1,200~~ $800. A 50% deposit is required before work is started and the remainder due prior to shipment. Price includes single color powdercoat and frame comes prepped ready for building. KT Prototype will also provide build kits and complete bikes at competitive rates.
